Hello Everyone!

To be quite honest I hate writing about myself, but here I am stepping out of my comfort zone.  I'd much rather be showing houses or help negotiate an offer!

So, what should I tell you?  How did I end up selling real estate?  Life has a way of preparing you for your next act. I think it started when I was a little girl in rural Missouri making rooms out of boxes and furntiure for my Barbie doll.  I also liked to make clothes for my dolls, later for myself which lead to me majoring in Clothing and Textiles Retailing in college.  After college I worked in retail and merchandising, was an office manager for an apartment complex and worked in the banking industry until I had my first child.  I stayed home with my children and followed my then husband around the country with his job.  I then became a divorced single mom of two children, taking care of my own home.  With all the moves and changes I bought and sold many homes. Why am I telling you this?  I think all of my life experiences and passions prepared me for this career.  I also think it makes me a better agent and better able to help and understand my clients unique and individual needs. 

So, how did I finally get into the business?  My kids were older and I decided it was time to go back to work.  I worked for a local online company for a year and a half, but need more of a challege.  I had always been interested in real estate, had been told I should be in the business etc...but never took the leap.  I contacted Coldwell Banker Hedges, met with the brokers and after much thought decided to make the change.  I can honestly tell you that I want to do this until the State won't let me drive any more!  I enjoy all the people I meet and how every day is different.  Yes, I do this to earn a living, but the most rewarding experience I have had is helping someone get into their first home when they thought it wouldn't be possible.  Again, I feel all my life experiences have groomed me to be the best real estate agent for your family.  I'm about helping you!
